
Home of Joseph is a 501(c)(3) Residential Treatment Center (RTC) serving children ages 7 to 17. We provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment focused on healing, growth, and specialized care. Our objective is to break harmful stereotypes and make alasting, positive impact on the lives of children with emotional and behavioral challenges. With a dedicated, well-trained staff, we offer long-term care that helps each child build self-belief, develop healthy relationships, and grow into productive members of their communities. RESIDENTIAL CARE
Therapy and Counseling
(Individual, Group and Family)
At HOJF, our licensed and certified therapists provide comprehensive therapeutic services tailored to each child’s individual treatment plan. This includes individual, group, and family therapy sessions designed to foster
emotional healing and growth. Our therapists utilize evidence-based approaches, including play therapy techniques, to help children express themselves and work through trauma in a
developmentally appropriate way. When needed, we also offer crisis intervention and crisis- focused therapy to ensure immediate support and stabilization.
Psychiatric Management
We provide psychiatric assessments conducted by licensed professionals. Our psychiatrist meets with each child monthly to evaluate the need for medication, monitor its effectiveness, and adjust as needed. This consistent oversight ensures that each child’s mental health needs are addressed with care, precision, and compassion
Psychological Testing/ Eval
Each child receives annual psychological evaluations
conducted by licensed psychologists to ensure their assessments and diagnostic information remain current. These evaluations help guide individualized treatment planning and support each child’s ongoing emotional and behavioral development.
Psychotropic Medication Management:
